ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Our project refers to the  guidelines of modern education published  in Jacques Delors’ Memorandum Lifelong Learning and it is of cross- sectional nature. It refers to different disciplines, and ICT is a kind of instrument that integrates the activities.
The main goal of the project is to encourage students interest in science, especially in mathematics, not only in traditional depiction, but in a very modern context – art connected with technology and architecture. We would like to educate  people who are open-minded about science and to prepare them how to live in the XXI century where science is closely connected with art. We would like to appeal to young people and show them that mathematics and  technology are not difficult, boring and needless. We will point at the inspiring side of the science and show how the surrounding world is beautiful, diverse and  rich in shapes and  colours thanks to the science. It is full of order and sense. Such an approach will facilitate our students to obtain multidimensional education that connects diverse aspects of their lives. Our students will discover achievements of other societies in art, architecture and mathematics, and they will also show their respect for technical knowledge, and they will develop their artistic skills. Our goal is to create modern society where different aspects of life  meet each other, and mathematicians’ and humanists’ views collide with each other  to create things for the times we live in and for the  human thought. The project will create opportunity for science teachers to look at their teaching techniques in different way. It will show new aspects of technology. It is very important to us to make all teachers active in foreign languages. They are usually not involved in international cooperation.
